Transatlantic Journaling Cruise

March 27th to April 11th, 2009

Cruise in comfortCruise in 5-star comfort aboard Oceania’s Insignia...

  • Fifteen days
  • Three continents
  • Six ports of call

Northwest Travel has teamed up with award-winning author Dave Fox to offer a unique travel event for early 2009. Dave is a travel and humor writer and veteran tour guide for Rick Steves. Gretchen and I attended Dave’s writing workshop through BCC some time ago and we were impressed with his sense of humor and knowledge of journaling. We had always wanted to devote more time to recording our experiences around the world. We left the 3-hour class completely excited about the next journey.

I approached Dave immediately after the class to see if he would be interested in combining his love of writing and travel with a seminar at sea. It’s taken some time to get it together, but I have little doubt it will be worth the wait. The promotion of this travel program goes hand in hand with the publication of Dave’s travel journaling book due out in the summer of 2008.

This is the perfect tour for you if you...

  • Enjoy five star accommodations and customer service
  • Are interested in exotic destinations
  • Want to learn how to write a great travel journal, or
  • If you’ve tried in the past, but want to find a way to make your journals more exciting
  • Would like to be a better writer
  • Crave warm weather in late March
  • Could use some “down time”

For more about Dave Fox, his books, his travels, and his journaling techniques, visit his websites at davesbook.com and traveljournaling.com.
