Cougars! Get ready for the pre-game event of the decade, featuring a number of Cougar Notables, including former QB’s Jack Thompson and Mark Rypien, Coach Jim Walden, and additional hosts to be named soon.

Tailgate at Sea is a weeklong celebration of Cougar Football, an outstanding opportunity to interact with other fans, enjoy some of the best cuisine afloat, with the majestic beauty of Southeast Alaska just outside your door. This seven day floating tailgate party provides many opportunities to gather as we cruise from the Seattle waterfront to the ports of Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, and Victoria BC. A portion of the cost of your Tailgate at Sea will go to the Rypien Foundation and to the WSU Athletic Department.

About the event

On August 23rd, hundreds of Cougar Football fans will board the Oosterdam of Holland America Lines at Pier 30 in Seattle. As you get settled in your stateroom, you will find a welcome bottle of Tailgate Wine and a commemorative shirt waiting for you. The ship sails North from the dock at 4:00pm . There will be a sail-a-way celebration that evening as we cruise north out of Elliot Bay into Puget Sound to the Straits of Juan de Fuca. We have a welcome cocktail reception scheduled for 6:00pm this evening. Our group dinner time is assigned at 8:15pm each evening, though you are welcome to dine independent of the group if you choose.
