New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, Baseball and Fireworks

June 30th to July 6th, 2009

I have taken many baseball fans to these great east coast cities in the past. One change to the program this season is that Yankee Stadium has seen its last Major League pitch and New Yankee Stadium will be admitting its first fans come April 2009. The new diamond, site of this year’s All Star Game, is just across the street from the old ballpark, north of Manhattan in The Bronx.

Fenway Park, despite consistent rumors the past ten years of imminent demolition, is still hosting Boston Fans in the Back Bay. There is no stadium in baseball today that brings back the feel of the old game more so than Fenway.

Baseball is the focus of this tour, but we will be seeing much of these two cities during our stay. We cap the entire stay off in Boston for the 4th of July with Fireworks on the Charles River to the music of the Boston Pops.

This package includes round trip airfare from Seattle to New York (June 30th), return from Boston (July 6th), airport/hotel transportation, three night accommodation in each city, 2 ball games in NY, 3 ball games in Boston, connecting rail service from NY to Boston, city tour of New York, and the historic center of Boston, transportation pass for trains and buses in both cities.
